  He growled long and low and she felt the sexy rumble all the way to her bones. It made her shiver and get wetter. Good night she loved that sound.

  He broke free from the kiss, but didn't let her go. "Take off the shorts."

  She grabbed at the waistband and he grabbed the opposite side, helping her out of them quickly. They were barely free from her legs and he was lifting her off the ground so she could wrap her legs around his waist.

  "I'm so desperate to be inside you," he reminded her as he nipped at her bottom lip while kneading her bottom with both hands. Somehow, while holding her up, he reached between them, grabbed his dick, and notched it against her entrance.

  She bucked at the friction, and slid right over him, gasping as he stretched her wide, forcing her to accommodate him. That now familiar almost, but not quite bite of pain made her slowly lose her mind. She rocked against him--faster. Having him moving inside of her was the most incredible thing she'd ever experienced.

  Lost in the deliciousness of their close connection, she barely registered that he'd flipped them around and eased her onto the bed until his thrusts grew stronger, wilder, almost out of control. This right here. She lived for the moments he got like this. Like no matter what either of them did, he couldn't get enough.

  He pushed harder and she met him thrust for thrust until the tingle in her core exploded into an orgasm that washed over her. Carter bent to her neck and clamped his teeth in the spot he'd originally marked. His spot. The one she rubbed at any time she thought of him and how much he meant to her.

  She moaned, the aftershocks of her release nearly as strong as the initial blast. Her muscles flexed and contracted until he slammed into her one last time and erupted from his own heated release. Together, they continued to move as they both wrung every ounce of pleasure from the other until they were too spent to move.

  Long minutes later, she felt him stir in her mind. They weren't exactly communicating, but they were forging their way forward through an exceptional connection.

  "That was incredible," she said.

  He shook his head. "Babe. How about mind blowing? If you weren't already pregnant, that would have made a baby for sure."

  She giggled and squirmed underneath him. She had a feeling she'd created a monster. "Are you going to be obsessed with me getting pregnant now? Because I'm not sure yet how many babies I want to have."

  "Well, make up your mind, so I can start dreaming about what it's going to take. If it were up to me, I could go for a dozen."

  "What?!" She pushed at his chest, but he didn't budge. "I am not having twelve babies, crazy man. I was thinking maybe three or four."

  "We'll see," he smiled, and it was easy to see the diabolical way his mind worked. There were going to be lots of babies in her future if he had anything to say about it. And oddly enough, the idea didn't seem to scare her as much as it had just a short time ago. A lot of things didn't scare her anymore. The dreams, the idea she was fated to be the mate of a bear shifter, and even the clan who would have claimed her, if not for Carter, could frighten her anymore.

  "How about we see how it goes with this one before you get any more crazy ideas, okay?"

  "Okay," he agreed, another wicked smile on his face she chose to ignore.

  "Now kiss me again, and then take me for pancakes. This baby calls for something sweet."
